Guiding the Vision, Driving Impact

Triangle Project's management board is at the helm, steering the organisation's operations and shaping its strategic vision.

Sarita Ranchod

Chairperson

with 20+ years in women's and LGBTQIA+ rights, combines global, regional, and local expertise. A thought leader in activism, strategy, and policy on VAWG and human rights, she fosters NGOs' effectiveness and holds an intersectional understanding of feminist principles. Skilled in strategy development, advocacy, and media, she brings experience from diverse regions.

Lorenzo Wakefield

Board Member

Holds LL.B and LL.M degrees, bringing comprehensive experience in presenting at seminars, advocating for children's and women's rights, and grantmaking for social justice projects. With a background at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, his expertise spans access to justice, crime prevention, and criminal justice development.

Tshegofatso Sekgwele

Treasurer

Tshegofatso Sekgwele, brings a  multifaceted perspective with over nine years of experience in the finance and investment sector, coupled with experience in the NGO sphere as previous Secretary General and Deputy President of the Association of South African Black Actuarial professionals. This experience equips Tshegofatso with a nuanced understanding of organisational dynamics, financial stewardship, and the broader landscape of social impact. She is passionate about leveraging her skills to contribute to LGBTQIA+ rights and opportunities, ensuring sound financial management and sustainable growth for the organisation.

Leigh-Ann Naidoo

Board Member

Leigh-Ann Naidoo is an Independent researcher for projects of the Wits Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Academic for more than 10 years. She has extensive working experience in the research field. Leigh-Ann is currently completing her PhD at the University of the Witwatersrand focusing on the Black Student Intellectuals and the New Student Movement in South Africa: The Case of #RhodesMustFall 2015/16. Leigh-Ann has been actively presenting at presentations and attending seminars for student movements and the LGBTQI+ communities.
