Queer Feminist Film Festival (QFFF) is a collaborative celebration, offering a vibrant space for reflection and honoring queer and feminist activists. Since its 2018 launch, this festival has successfully brought queer narratives to peri-urban areas, creating a safe, affirming, and celebratory learning space.
QFFF goes beyond traditional film festivals; it's a movement where LGBTQIA+ individuals, communities, organizations, activists, and creators collaboratively share their work and lived realities. Beyond showcasing films, the festival fosters learning and unlearning through diverse narratives, sparking dialogue and strategies to challenge homophobia and address social justice issues impacting LGBTQIA+ persons and human rights.
Step into this crucible for a future black utopia, where collaboration challenges norms, fosters community building, and promotes queer visibility. QFFF is a collaborative force challenging cisnormative patriarchy, redefining African queerness, and amplifying voices that deserve to be heard. Embrace the diversity of stories and join the collaborative movement. QFFF - where the power of film meets the power of change.
