Different Volunteer Opportunities

Triangle Projects offers a range of volunteer opportunities ranging from volunteering in our library, being part of our special events, being a clinic receptionist to co-ordinating a support group etc.

 

HEALTH AND SUPPORT SERVICES:  Are looking for a volunteer female doctor to run our monthly women's clinic.  Our doctor is going off on maternity leave.  For more info please contact Sharon or Heather on 021 4483812 or e mail health@triangle.org.za

 

HEALTH AND SUPPORT SERVICES:  Are also looking for volunteer registered nurses, able to draw blood

 

Homebased Care:  If you would like to assist we would appreciate it.  The areas where we currently have a need is in Nyanga, Phillipi, Athlone, Parrow Valley and Wynberg.  Your own transport would be required for this area of volunteering

A group of final year occupational therapy students,  are conducting a qualitative phenomenological study on the experiences of homosexual men in the workplace. They will be looking at the challenges and the facilitatory factors that they experience. This study will increase the literature on the subject, provide the participants an opportunity to share their experiences and create further awareness on the lived experiences of homosexual men within a South African context.
