Triangle Project Library and Resource Centre
The Triangle Project Library was started in 1996. Susan Newham, Sue Alexander and Gasant Jacobs were volunteers who managed the library and initiated new ideas. It started out with a very small book collection then it flourished into a fully fledged library over the past decade. Primarily, our library is fully stocked with LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) books donated by partner organizations and people from the public. We have the following books available on our shelves: Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual novels, autobiographies and biographies, children’s books, magazines, research and non-fictional materials for study purposes and a stunning gay and lesbian DVD collection. Our mission is to contribute relevant and updated information to the LGBT community concerning LGBT issues. To join the library please visit our drop-in centre during our office hours and complete a membership form. Upon payment of the once off membership fee you are legible to take out five books and two DVD’s (on deposit)
