Opening of the Triangle Project Video, Books and Magazine Library

Gender & Sexual Violence against Lesbian/Bisexual Women and other sexual identity minorities called on all LGBTI human rights organisations; gender & women’s organisations; activists from the broader women’s and gender movement/sector; and human rights defenders to collectively voice their anger and concerns regarding gender violence and “corrective rape”. The public protest and community mobilization coincided with a meeting of activists with the Ministry of Justice, which addressed a number of concerns documented in the form of a memorandum calling for a defined course of action and strategy together with the State.
